How fast does a year go by! It only seems like a few months ago we were visiting the UK concrete show 2016 and now it’s time for the UK Concrete Show 2017. That’s a full 12 months since the last one.
Update – *This show has now finished*
This will be the 7th time the show has been held and each year the show seems to get bigger. With the 2017 event expected to be a total sell out.
At this years 2017 event there will be 196 exhibitors and 198 product categories. It is estimated that a massive 14 million pounds worth of business will be carried out during the event.
What you can expect to see at the UK Concrete Show 2017
There is much to see and do at the UK Concrete Show 2017, which is being held in Birmingham on the 14th & 15 of February. With this years show featuring a concrete interactive visitor experience (whatever that is) and technical advice clinics.
The bits that I particularly like are some of the many demonstrations that the exhibitors will hold throughout the two days showing you how their products work and the best way to use them. There usually are always reps available to discuss their products on a one-to-one or just simply grab some of their literature to read at a further date. I tend to take many leaflets that describe products that interest me to read during my dinner then go back to the ones I want more information about or don’t quite understand after dinner.
There really is something for everybody if you love or work with concrete in some way, shape or form, as long as you have an interest in it you should find it there at the show. If you want to take a look at some of the companies and products that are exhibiting at the 2017 show you can have a look here. Some of the many exhibitors that interest me are Active Molds of Sheffield who manufacture block paving molds. Belle tools, just to see if there are new products. Probst are always one of my favorites, they sell and manufacture equipment for lifting and carrying paving. Guard Industry are another company that I will be taking a look at as they manufacture a range of products for protecting concrete against oils and water.
Whatever it is your interested in you will almost defiantly find something of interest at the show.
